Q: What is KeyNet Banking?

A: KeyNet Banking provides KeySavings Bank customers with Internet Access to their Checking, Savings and Loan accounts 24 hours of every day. KeyNet banking includes the ability to view account balances and transaction details, make funds transfers and view statements online.

Q: What is required to use KeyNet Banking?

A: You can use any computer that has Internet access. To use KeyNet Banking, customers must have at least one account with KeySavings Bank, which may include Checking, Savings, Individual Retirement Account, Certificate of Deposit or Loans.

Q: When can I start using KeyNet Banking?

A: You can sign up today and you will receive your access ID and temporary password in separate mailings, for enhanced security, within 2-3 business days.

Q: How much does KeyNet Banking cost?

A: KeyNet Banking gives you access to your accounts free of charge.

Q: Is information secure and confidential using KeyNet Banking?

A: We utilize layered authentication to protect your personal account information from fraud and identity theft. You control all information concerning your account via your access ID and password.

Q: Does KeySavings Bank ask for personal account information via the Internet?

A: Phishing scams invite you to volunteer personal account information under the pretense of a legitimate business transaction. Don’t become a victim. KeySavings Bank does not request any personal or account information from our customers via e-mail.

Q: Can I use KeyNet Banking for my business accounts?

A: Yes.

Q: Can I initiate unlimited transfers between any of my accounts?

A: Transfers will only be permitted between your deposit accounts with us, as long at the accounts have matching Social Security numbers and/or names. However, the Insured Investment Account is subject to transfer limitations under Regulation D.

Q: When I conduct a transaction via KeyNet Banking, when is my account updated?

A: Your account is updated every business day with new transactions posted to your account from the previous business day.

Q: Can I order checks through KeyNet Banking?

A: Yes. You can use the check re-order function if you have previously ordered checks through KeySavings Bank for your account.

Q: What if I forgot my password and have been locked out of KeyNet Banking. How do I change it?

A: We can help you reset your password. Simply call our KeyNet Banking customer service department during normal business hours for assistance. Be prepared to provide appropriate security verification information when you call.

Q: What are the guidelines for selecting my password?

A: Passwords are case sensitive, must be a minimum of 4 characters in length and need to consist of a combination of alphabetical and numeric characters. The password can not be more than 16 characters in length.

Q: Can I use my Home Equity Line of credit to transfer to deposit accounts with KeyNet Banking?

A: Yes.

Q: Can I pay bills using KeyNet Banking?

A: Yes. KeyNet Banking Bill Pay is now available. Customers are required to have a KeySavings Bank checking account to access.

Q: When can I get started?

A: Apply now! You can use KeyNet Banking free of charge. Access KeyNet Banking from any computer with Internet Access or ask for a Customer Service Representative to assist you.

Q: Can I put a stop payment on checks?

A: Yes, but there are fees involved. If you have questions about stop payments, please call or stop in to see a customer service representative.

Q: Can I make loan payments with KeyNet Banking?

A: Yes. However, we do prefer that you make full payments. If you would like to make partial payments, please come in and make arrangements with a loan officer.

Q: Can I change my street address from this website?

A: No. It is preferred all address changes be given to the Bank in person or by written instructions via the mail with your signature and effective date of change.


KeyNet Banking Bill Pay

Enrollment Instructions

1. Review your Personal Information for accuracy.

  • Account number is 10 digits, including leading zero. A change must be made adding the leading “0.”
  • Personal changes do not update records held at KeySavings Bank; contact the Bank directly to change account record.
2. Click on Continue.
  • Answer all Security Questions.
  • If enrollment is successful, a confirmation message displays.
  • If you get an error message or do not get a confirmation message it means your enrollment was not successful. Contact the Bank for assistance 1-715-423-6460 or 1-866-423-6460.
3. Click on Finished
  • Now you are able to use CheckFree.
  • A new page will display welcoming you to online Bill Pay; a demo is available to familiarize yourself with product features.
4. You will receive two emails from KeySavings Bank. One will be a welcoming letter and the second will be a confirmation letter. Please read the emails as they give further instructions to confirm your payment account. Confirming your payment account ensures CheckFree that you are the subscriber who has access to these accounts. If you fail to confirm your account within 45 days, the account will become 'stale'. You will not be able to initiate transactions at that point.
    5. Please complete entire enrollment process the first time. If you fail to do so, you will need to contact the Bank to assist in clearing your record. This will allow you to start over again.
